The Drake

Head : Green with white surround at base of bill and white line starting at rear of eyes and encircling back of head. Wide white ring encircling neck

Body : As Mallard except underside of body behind legs white. Main tail feathers white. Outer flights white

Bill : Light yellow with greenish tint

Head : Marking as drake

Body : White area often extends further. White in wings can extend onto shoulders

Bill : Yellow with light brown saddle

In both sexes : Coloured feathers as mallard. Variations on pied markings allowed but even markings to be encouraged
